Keith Clark found his calling in finance 30 years ago while  attending Tuskegee University. Although he studied sociology and statistics, Keith uncovered his true passion outside of the classroom.

While on the university’s football team, some student-athletes sought him out for financial advice. It was then that Keith recognized he had a knack for numbers and making the complex more understandable. He began pursuing a career as a financial advisor, joining the industry in 1989.

Keith’s love for his family, career, and community play the most important roles in his life. He is an active member of Leadership Pittsburgh and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and serves as a trustee at Baptist Temple Church.

  • Persistence to help advance clients through the
    entire planning process

Keith’s Experience

  • Industry experience since 1989

Financial planning – A truly comprehensive financial plan can empower us to make financial decisions and meet goals. As a fee-based financial planner, Keith has the ability to provide a more consultative relationship covering everything from budgeting and retirement income, to investments and more.

Retirement planning – The number one worry of working-age people is that they will not have enough money to last their retirement years. Keith helps clients determine their retirement priorities, identify sources of income, and estimate expenses to ensure a sustainable level of income in retirement.

Estate planning – Many people think of an estate plan as something only needed in the event of death, but it can also protect should the person become incapacitated or unable to make decisions for themselves. Keith specializes in estate planning to help clients communicate their wishes, protect loved ones, and even reduce their taxes.

Connie Thornhill Bettis

(412) 600-2646

cbettis@cambridgesecure.com

The global financial crisis of 2008 affected Connie Thornhill Bettis’ life in unexpected ways. Like millions of Americans at the time, Connie was laid off from her job and required the advice of a financial advisor. Unfortunately for Connie and many others, she wasn’t receiving the level of attention from advisors that she needed. If others couldn’t help her, Connie surmised, she would help herself.

Connie became an advisor in 2009 and began using her knowledge to educate people. This included friends and former coworkers who, like her, had lost their jobs abruptly. “I had value that others didn’t have, and I wanted to provide it,” says Connie.

Over the past 10 years, Connie has continued to help guide clients through their life changes, striving to be a resource for them when they need it most.

Values

  • Building a lifelong relationship with the client
  • A genuine desire to help improve people’s lives
  • Taking great care to get to know and educate the client

Connie’s Experience

  • Industry experience since 2009
  • Bachelor’s degree – Indiana University of Pennsylvania
  • MBA – University of Phoenix
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses
  • Life, health, and property and casualty licenses

Insurance planning – People are often so focused on growing their wealth that they forget to protect it. Without proper insurance protections in place, the consequences can be devastating. Connie helps clients find the right coverages to guard against the
unexpected.

Investment planning – Most people have financial goals, but they may not know where to start. Connie helps clients clarify their goals and develop an investment strategy that allows them to feel more financially secure and confident in their investments.

Long-term care (LTC) – According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, one in four people age 65 will face over $50,000 in lifetime out-of-pocket LTC expenditures. Connie specializes in LTC planning to help ensure clients won’t have to risk
 heir retirement and other savings.
